What did I see?
A woman whose attraction to a good-looking guy dissolved into thin air.
The woman was a friend of my girlfriend at the time.
I distinctly remember her coming back to our group after a ten minute conversation with her “dream” guy (who looked like a bad Criss Angel impersonator).
“He’s super creepy,” she said (even though she was proclaiming her undying affection moments before).
Now, as you may have read in this article here about how to know if she likes you, a woman’s level of attraction to a man is a dynamic and fluid thing.
While a woman may be very attracted to a guy at first, something he does or says can sink things quickly (as I’ve seen firsthand myself).
Here are the top ten worst behaviors that some guys do to kill her attraction fast:
Fun-Killers
Women often get accused of being indecisive and not knowing what they want.
That point is open to argument but what is clear is this:
Women are very keen on what they don’t want.
What this means is that any of these bad behaviors below can knock a guy out of contention with a woman, fast:
- He complains or is very negative
- He is smothering with his presence
- He doesn’t take charge, lead, or plan things
Why does she get turned off so quickly? Simple.
Many of these behaviors remind women of their last bad relationship.
Now, I’m not here to bash guys but he truth is this:
Men do many of these turn-off behaviors at the end of relationships out of frustration or because they secretly don’t care if things end.
So, if you catch yourself doing anything close to these behaviors in the beginning, STOP and try something else before you turn her off for good.
Non-Masculine Behaviors
What do Angelina Jolie, Pamela Anderson, and Jessica Alba all have in common besides being beautiful, famous women?
They all have looks and personas that are overwhelmingly feminine.
No matter how differently each one looks, walks, or talks, there is still something very attractive about how each one comes across individually.
They all have a certain something.
What is that certain something that attracts men? Femininity.
What is that certain something that attracts women? Masculinity.
Of course, if a guy does not understand the basic traits of a manly man, he may do these kinds of things:
- He worries about what everyone thinks about him
- He needs constant feedback from the woman
- He apologizes too much
- He talks or walks in a tentative and unconfident manner
I love the simplicity of how masculinity wins with women.
Why? Because, if you ever have no idea what to do in a particular situation, you can always ask yourself this:
“Does what I’m doing right now make me look MORE masculine or LESS masculine?”
Always do the thing that makes you look more masculine. Always.
False Advertising
This next one is easy as long as you understand that women hate it when men lie.
I’m not talking about the “polite” or “white” lies that deal with your dating history, likes and dislikes of women’s bodies, or your real opinion of the chick-flick nightmare Eat, Pray, Love.
Women lie too, but let’s be honest here guys…if she looks really good and she likes you, you’ll probably cut her some slack.
Plus, women are better at catching guys in a lie – especially when a guy lies to enhance his own image by doing these types of things:
- He brags a lot and seems to be making things up just to look “cooler”
- He acts like he knows everything (when no one knows everything)
- He makes spends a lot of time explaining that he’s a “good, honest, decent” guy
The bottom line with all of these types of behaviors is they are bad for this one big reason:
Attractive women have heard it all before.
They heard some guy build himself up and confused it for confidence.
They gave him a chance.
He was a total letdown.

Steer clear of this sexist advice. Everyone is allowed to be as masculine or feminine as they desire to be. Anyone who doesn’t understand that doesn’t have the empathy to be a decent partner anyway. And a woman who is indecisive but still expects you to come up with all the plans is just selfish. Unless you’re just after sex then do yourself a favor and don’t cater to women who feel entitled to a certain type of man.
